Biblical Counseling • Hope & Help
Our Biblical Counseling (aka Biblical Guidance) Ministry was formed out of our desire to help believers meet the challenges of life in a way that will glorify and honor the Lord Jesus Christ. Biblical counseling is a transformational process centered on the person of Jesus Christ and anchored in the truth and sufficiency of Scripture. Biblical counseling incorporates the study and application of biblical truth, encourages obedience to the commands of God, and points the believer toward a deeper relationship with the Savior.
How It Works
We are convinced that the Bible provides thorough guidance and instruction for life (2 Peter 1:3), therefore our counsel is based on biblical principles rather than those of secular psychology.
Neither the pastoral nor the lay staff of Calvary Chapel Dayton Valley are state licensed mental health professionals. Rather, the counseling staff are mature Christians who have received specialized training and/or certification in biblical counseling.
